As part of Dr. Hema Divakar’s 90-70-90 initiative aimed at eliminating cervical cancer, HDR Healthcare Foundation, in collaboration with Divakars Speciality Hospital, conducted an awareness camp at Geetha Educational Trust on August 30th, 2024. The camp focused on educating students, parents, and teachers about cervical cancer prevention and the importance of HPV vaccination.
The camp was inaugurated by the management team of Geetha Educational Trust and Dr. G.V. Divakar. Ms. Sheetal Joshi conducted informative sessions on HPV vaccination, emphasizing its role in preventing cervical cancer. A total of 28 students and teachers received free HPV vaccinations. Additionally, hemoglobin levels were checked for 140 students to assess their overall health.
This initiative, supported by Geetha Educational Trust, highlights HDR Healthcare Foundation’s commitment to raising awareness about cervical cancer and providing access to preventive care. The management and parents of the students expressed their appreciation for this impactful program.
